WH Pierce 2014: Vasillis Valdramidis

Vasillis Valdramidis of University of Malta. Vasillis was awarded the prize for his research which used mathematical models to describe the behaviour of microorganisms given certain environmental conditions. 

His lecture at the 2014 Annual Conference was titled ‘Integrating principles of predictive microbiology in food processing’
