Overview
With the UK hosting the COP26 summit this year, our ECS Committee are hosting a week-long webinar series focused on the role of microbes in climate change and why microbiology research is so important to a sustainable future.
Part of the motivation for this event is the announcement by the UK government in February 2021 about the creation of an Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA), which will make funding available to cutting edge research and development, including in the climate sector.
