Student Travel Bursary

For students attending local AMI or AMI-sponsored scientific events, including conferences, symposia, workshops, webinars, and training courses

Due to the popularity and competitive nature of the Student Travel Bursary, it is important to note that only a limited number of grants are available for each AMI or AMI-sponsored event. Applicants are encouraged to check if their supervisor/department has the funds to cover their costs first. This honesty helps us reserve these limited grants for those to attend who would otherwise find the cost a barrier and have greater financial need. By prioritising students with financial constraints, we aim to ensure broader and more equitable access to these key learning opportunities.

Although this grant is highly competitive, we will strive to support as many eligible students as possible within the constraints of available funds.
