UK Consultation - 'A Vision for the Future' OECD's STEM Education survey
PISA is the world’s largest international education study, involving over half a million students across 80 countries. It assesses 15-year-olds’ ability to use their reading, mathematics and science knowledge and skills to meet real-life challenges. It provides insights to governments and policy-makers and is often a catalyst for change in education systems.
SfAM committee members contributed their views on how STEM education should prepare young people and drive innovations in science over the next 10-15 years. The survey addresses various aspects of science education including; future challenges beyond 2030, knowledge/skills gaps and equality, diversity and inclusion.
